Database setup

Step 1 of 5

This creates your platform and its System Administrator. Clinics register separately and need approval before access.

Use the MySQL credentials supplied by your hosting provider.

Automatically enabled when the application URL begins with https://.

Platform settings

No clinic is created in this step.

These values identify the SaaS platform itself. Each dental clinic will create its own tenant, branch, owner account, timezone, and clinic settings through the registration page.

System Administrator

Platform account - not a dental clinic account.

This user has clinic_id = NULL and branch_id = NULL. Use it to review clinic registrations, approve or reject tenants, change packages, suspend access, and manage platform backups.

Use at least 12 characters with uppercase and lowercase letters, a number, and a symbol.

Verification email delivery

New registrations verify their email first.

Applicants receive a six-digit verification code, then a confirmation when their registration is submitted for administrator approval. Choose verified SMTP or, if your host supports it, PHP Mail. Delivery is required before new clinics can register.

Use your provider's SMTP password or application password. Leave both credentials empty only when your host provides an authorized SMTP relay. Credentials are saved to the protected server configuration.

Authorize your sender address with the SMTP provider. After installing, test registration verification and confirmation delivery to an address you control.
Clinic email addresses

Set the base domain for clinic addresses such as noreply@abc.dental.systemurl.com and staff sign-ins such as doctor@abc.dental.systemurl.com.

Leave empty to use the application hostname. For an application at portal.systemurl.com, enter systemurl.com here if you want clinic emails under that root domain. Clinic usernames are assigned during approval. The super admin enables each sender after the mail provider is configured; receiving staff email requires mailboxes or forwarding at your provider.

One last check.

Optional demo tenants
Enable the option below only for evaluation to install the sample Single Clinic, Multi Branch Clinic, staff accounts, patient records, and a pending clinic registration. Demo account passwords are Admin@223344.
The installer will test MySQL, create the secure configuration, verify application dependencies, build the database, create your independent System Administrator, add a private draft of the built-in rehabilitation nursing sample exam, optionally add demo tenants, and lock the installer.

After email delivery is configured, real clinics use the public Register clinic page and verify their email. Registrations then remain pending until an administrator approves them.
